Urgent help required
I have an eb falcon s series 5 speed
I have just finished reinstalling my clutch/brake pedal bracket into the car after fixing poor welding by previous owner, but now I have an electrical problem
with the brake light switch connected I blow the tail light fuse
without the brake light switch installed all tail lights work.
With the tail light fuse out the brake lights don't work.
I have checked to make sure all wires are not pinched or crossed.
apart from pulling the dash out again and removing pedal bracket I can't for the life of me see anything wrong
dose anyone have any ideas

First thing I'd try would be another brake light switch. Also disconnect the lights, plugs in the boot, and press the brake switch, maybe the shorts at the rear of the car and not related to the work you've done.
