the locks only played up after you jumped it?
when you jump start computer controlled cars, before you disconnect the the jumper cables, the car with the flat battery must have the headlights turned on high beam otherwise when you disconnect it the alt on the flat car sees a flat battery all of a sudden and spikes the voltage briefly... this can damage the computer and/or BEM... This is the technique the NRMA people employ here... this way the spike is absorbed by the high current drawing lights... You can turn them off straight after, just that instant when you disconnect the clamp can do damage...

Mine does the same thing from time to time but its the central locking that plays up normally i have to either open the door and close it again or make sure the rear tail gate is shut properly? to stop the locks going up and down or in frustration when i go to lock it and it plays up i just walk away it pisses me off to much so leave the car unlocked lol

not one of the actuators in the doors with dirty contacts come to think of it?
Ifone of the master actuators isn't sending a signal to say its locked (dirty contact in side it maybe, making it look like door is ajar) then the BEM is thinking it didn't lock (door is ajar) and hence sends the unlock signal out to all... Slave actuators don't send their status, only masters send their status to the BEM... Just something that came to mind then... Cheers, Tim

I have had the same problem after I haddent started it in a while I took the flat battery out and charged it.
Put it in and the Locks started to go up and down When I shut the door it stoped in the locked position. Any Ideas? Just got off the phone with ford and they said it could be a worn actuaiter thorghts?
