dgay every one for a few months now my batery light has been poping on and of and the alternator needal has been moving alot somtimes it sits normal other times it sits almost on the red line and all my lights go low and i notice power loss wen this happens
wat could be wrong? fked altinator? has any one had this problem

i would check your earths first can hurt and its free. the terminal on my battery was shotty and the gauges when crazy it would stall when using the indicators.

could be regulator, but also brushes.

both fairly straight forward fixes from an auto elec.

mines doing some funny things at the minute too, but i havent been able to put my finger on what just yet

I had a massive electrical problem arise from just a loose earth bolt in the boot. As said before, its a good idea to check the earths, both under the bonnet and in the car

yeah it seems like an earth sometime i can here a litle clicking noice and the gages move up and down very fast lol
but also i got a new belt and have tentioned it heaps and teh belt slips a litle bit on start but its ok untill the batery light turns on the i here the belt squirl for about 5 or 10 seconds
