your 18's did you have any prb fitting them to your car

No probs whatsoever ...they're E-series fitment (Pre-AU) ...no adaptors needed.

haha heres a C*** whos obviously up himself. Nice way to contribute by mocking others 'trying' to help

Lets all listen to your "expert" advice?

no point tunning for peak power if you rattle the engine to death befor it gets there

yeah good one. Quote part of a post, to make read the way you want it.

the point was they are half smart for wanting to use a knock sensor, and/or a knock microphone while tunning it.

It's a safe gaurd against a bad batch of fuel or detonating one cylinder because it has slightly more compression or a leaner mixture caused by un even manifold flow. (yes the BBM does not flow the same on all runners.)

there is no point in trying to find the ignition timing the engine needs to make peak power, if detonates befor that point. By the time you can here it with a naked ear damage can already be done.
you'd be supriesed by what you hear through a knock microphone.

By the way a post like yours only shows how much a of an up himself C*** you are.

Hey mate,

The rims are GTP replicas in Pre-AU fitment ...they're pretty easy to pick up nowadays (seen em on ebay too) ...expect to pay approx. $1800 with decent rubber for 18's.

And NO, no quarter mile runs before engine mods ...you can probably expect to run mid-low 15's if you've done the basics like extractors / exhaust etc.

Cheers.

even 215hp is a little low imo. it equates to about 160rwkw. a dev5 with a chip and tune should be doing about 230hp+.
try and get a dyno sheet so we can see the torque figure and where it makes torque.
btw are you running standerd rev limiter or has it been increased???

I would have to agree with that statement.
Either BPT can't tune or DEV kits are not as tallented as they're advertised as being.

I would back option 2 of the above. I have seen a few Dev kits and they were less than i would have expected for the cash involved.

Haven't you guys heard of 'Mock-watts'? hehe

Got her back ...drives like a new car ...smooth as, but with balls.

The dyno curves are a huge improvement ...I'll scan the sheets and put em up soon.

I'm rapt ...BPT really came through with the goods.
