Since I put the manual in my car if I need to brake a little hard or put the clutch in a hurry then the car just loses power and cuts out. I have to put it in gear and let go of the clutch and it fires up again but I have no idea why its doing this.

Your ISC might need attention or ECU needs to relearn the idle speeds. There is a topic somewhere about doing a set procedure to allow the computer to idle better?
hope that kind of helps phong =P~

so it stalls when your stopping? or say down shifting from 4th to 3rd @ 60kph??
i assume youve checked the isc on your car, mine needed MAJOR adjustment after my manual conversion. another q... are you using a tricked auto ecu/or manual one |

Mine was doing this after I did a conversion, if you pushed the clutch in with it at 2000rpm or something it would just stop, but if you left the clutch out till you were nearly stopped it would be fine.
I found my problem to be spark related more than anything, gave the dizzy cap a clean, new sparkys, helped a lot, check your ISC tho it could have something to do with it as well. |

Yeh im using the auto ECU. I have no idea what the ISC is? The car stalls at random speeds like going from 4th to 3rd at 60.

Idle Speed Controller, little cylander looking thing bolted to side of the throttle body, did you leave your neutral switch plugged into the loom and in N? also the resistor trick for gearbox temp etc?

I did the resistor trick of soldering two of the wires together with resistors in between and soldering two others together.

try reset the computer?
if that fails check the isc, ontop of the throttle body, there should be guide on how to adjust idle speed around here somewhere. |

I think this may be normal as you had the battery disconneccted and the ECu neds to relearn.

Yeh ill see if it gets any better. Although I did 800kms yesterday and it didnt help. I can drive fairly well and my brother and dad(both mechanics) who are great drivers have had it happen to them aswell.
