Hello ford modders,i have an EB, does anyone no how to make an engine bay look clean and simple? Like mine looks ugly and s**t full, its untidy as im thinking about all those pics on here and some look amazing but i dunno were to put all the wires and crap in there.
Its hard to explain but i guess i mean i dont want it to be clustered. Attachment:

personally i think ur airbox looks a bit whack lol.. looks like its out of something ancient lol, and i also think the engine bay looks nicer with the belt guard on. it hides ur power steering pump.. just my opinion

its looking a bit nicer. i still think it would look cleaner with the power steering cover on. Maybe paint your radiator bottle black aswell?

This guy is from ACF. His bay is mindblowingly clean in real life. All he did was detailed the hell out of it.

As far as i no the brought them out with serpentine systems, its because the thermostat housing sits side on is why it wont fit on the EA, B and D.
Good idea tho

i think if you sanded the high lines on the rocker cover so there shiny that would help with the look...
you can also modify the ef belt cover to fit the eb aswell.. it involves a little cutting and make up a small beacket to hold it to the thermostat bolt.. like this, this was my old ea... Attachment:

The belt cover mod that Troyman also suggested looks good and will clean up the front of the engine a bit too. BTW, Troyman, that's a bloody clean looking engine bay you had in the old EA, nice work!! A few others things: - Polish the thermostat housing cover - they polish up real well once sanded back smooth and rubbed over with Autosol. - Also try find yourself an XH snorkel, they are bigger and look much better than the stock boxcar airbox snorkel. - I see you have a bit of a blue theme there now with the leads and oil cap, so maybe spray other little things in blue, e.g oil dipstick, washer bottle cap.. Little things like this all add up and make a nice difference in the end. |
