i thought they were only relays...controling various things, the cooling fans are controlled by relays under there. You really only need 1 cooling fan...i ran on 1 for about 6 months until i ran the diag and noticed the relay for it was blown.

I have blown a couple of those,100amp, wouldnt think it would have to do with over heating, are your fan relays fine?

its the fuses next to the battery in the rectangler box to clear on confusion. The fused mark ENG i think was blown. I'm not sure it was blown after taking a closer look at it just the element was brown and was thinner than it was suppose to be. I changed the fuse around with the HEGO fuse which had the same rating fuse.

So what does a distorted fuse element mean? Any ill effects?

did it happen while you were driving or stationary? i had this on my car, my atm has LPG (but not for long) and it was found that the main injector cable was pinched hence why the fuse had blown  :?

no i stumbled accross it when going over the engine bay. The fuse isnt blown it looks discoloured and is thinner than its meant to be. Sort of like almost going to blow.

So put a multimeter across it and see if it's intact.
