Agree, if it's not leaking oil and runs well, you have no problems. As AU2SR shouts [LOL], that's all that needed doing.

stick your hand around at the firewall side and check for oil leaks around under the "half moon" bit of the rocker cover
These sections need a thin film of gasket goo to seal up properly. If the gasket hasnt been changed for awhile, i would buy a new one for peace of mind. Once theyve been replaced, they can be removed 100 times over and wont leak as long as you apply some goo to the half moon section everytime you fit back onto the motor roughly cost 45 bucks from Repco |
