Okay, what happened... Start of last week, i realised my headlight blew, so i get into the front of the car, and pulled it out... in the meanwhile, i must've knocked the battery terminal, and it became loose unbeknown to me.
An hour later, got into the car, clicked it over, everything fine, went to start the car, everything dies.. went to battery, jiggled it, sparked, everything works again. YAY! but now, ever since then, its been idling very low, as in, travelling at 2k revs, and put in the clutch, it'll go so low, the engine dies... Any ideas of what has done this? ive tried 'resetting' the idle but to no avail

what i did is what i did a few months back when my battery was replaced... let the car idle for 60 seconds, turn off car, hold accelerater down for 60 seconds, and the idle was reset.
How do i reset the ECU?

never heard of that one before ECU is reset by disscontecting battery for about half an hour. (I think) when you go to start the car again you don't press the accellorator after its been started

hmmm ive tried resetting the computer, and to no avail. if i try to start the car with no acceleration once it kicks over, it just dies again... this is giving me the s**t, espcially having to feather the accelerator while stopping somewhere

Clean your ISC if you haven't already
if that dosen't work try bumping your base idle up.

I cleaned out my ISC only a couple months ago... so i highly doubt its going to be that, i think the only option left is to yeah, bump up my base idle.. kinda hoped it wouldnt get to that, as obviously something electronically has gone wrong

do you know where the accelerator cable is?
if you look in front of that, hidden by a hose or something i believe, the screw is facing towards the firewall, so it is horizontal.. you need to use a flathead NOT a phillips head. it requires a bit of looking but its there! PS, if you dont know where the accelerator cable is, you'll see a spring to the right of your intake manifold and down a bit... its in front of that
