What do they use for the hoses/lines/pipes for engine oil coolers? The same type of hoses that they use for automatic transmission cooler lines?
That and some hose clamps would be alright hey? There's not that much pressure in the lines is there? Outta interest, oil cooled turbos, whats the deal with them? What kinda hoses they use? And surely you'd run the oil through a cooler before going into the turbo or else it would get way too hot!?! |

engine oil coolers and lines see full oil pressure...
i use speed flow stainless braided line or speed flow black no clamp line. they are both rated over 1000psi if the hose ends are put on properly. with the turbo oil feed, again i use speedflow hose. no cooler in between, no need for it the oil is there as lube first, cooling second. |

ah, didn't really think about the fact that it's there to lube the turbo lol d'oh!
but surely one would find the temp of there oil skyrocketing once the turbo was fitted? and wouldn;t the extra heats be negitive for both the engine and oil wuality? |

only a very small amount of the engine oil goes throught turbo.
the extra heat comes from the extra heat in the chambers. oil and water temp go crazy when you give it hard time. but any one doing such a conversion should have taken that into acount. with oil coolers and such |
