hi
is it possible to make a 2 post and a beam running accross with decent feet to support a engine from the top when dropping the k frame using 3 builders timber lengths bolted together to increase thickness the middle one being a little shorter and the middle timber being longer than the 2 outside ones on the beam so it can all slide in together |

Its easier to run a steel section that is supported by the top of the strut towers to hold the engine while removing the K-Frame.

Use decent CHS or RHS mate.
Anything 4-5mm thick and 50mm+ diameter/width will do. Engine weighs quite a lot!

yes gearbox will stay bolted, so chuck some house timber or permapine square timer on each shock tower and bolt the steel peice on each end??
