hey guys, i went for a quick drive this morning and popped my car into neutral got out to look at my tire that had been a bit flat and noticed a horrible whine coming from my engine. though it might be the alternater. any ideas?

really common to be the tensioer idler pulleys, on two e series's I have had to do both cars idlers.
pull the plastic cover off and use a long screwdriver carefully and listen to the bearing on each pulley. Dean jorr
