Hello all im about to buy a EB II 4 speed auto and am wondering how much benifit i would gain from a mild cam (suggestions of brands/part numbers welcome), a 3" straight through exhaust system with extractors to suit and power chipping it?
Would it be worth getting a Stage II shift kit installed as well, if so roughly how much would it cost and would it be worth getting anything else done to the trani. Anybody from melbourne that could guide me towards a good place to get this done at would greatly be apriciated.

The 4 speed autos used in the EB are electronically controlled, so you can make your own "shift kit" with a few resistors and a switch. As for cams, you can get regrinds for $122 (check pricing first) from Wade cams who i believe are a sponsor of this site. Alted cams can also do a cam for you, and so far i havent heard anything but praise from those who have them installed. Crow cams also do cams, but i dont believe theirs are a billet, so theyre more expensive. ITS performance can do a motor for you from a Stage 1 through to a Stage 5, but it depends on how far you want to take it. Its all been covered in these forums before, so if you do a bit of a search you'll find many threads! As for exhaust, most people tend to go with pacemaker extractors (non comp), standard cat, and a 2.5inch exhaust from Redback or someone similar. With just these mods, you wont need a power chip, but a few users of the forum have after market engine management for their more serious motors.
