this was the issue if ne1 has it.

I have it, the comparison is between a XR6T Falcon, XR5 Focus and Subaru WRX (NOT STI) but then the Falcon ain't the Typhoon either....

XR6T 14.5 @ 164km/h
Focus 15.5 @ 151 km/h
WRX 14.6 @ 155 km/h

Subaru is faster to 60 km/h
at 2.9 sec
Falcon 3.3 secs,
Focus 4.0 secs

100 km/h Falcon 6.3 secs, Subaru 6.6secs, Focus 7.6 secs

Yeah I've been a fan for a while. I'm die-hard FORD all the way. I'll add stuff to my sig when I get a chance. I think I just diagnosed my problem with my stang, bad valve guides :(. Damn that lift. haha.

Sounds good about the fuel too. I was afraid you guys had some insane octane ratings. I thought might have to mix our 93 with some 110 (115 your rating) to get the right mixture. That would have sucked. If anyone has a link with performance stats for the xr6 turbo that would be great. I'm having a hard time finding one.

no need to mix it to lower the rating. just use the 110 in it. gives the chance to tune it a little harder aswell

He knows a lot about turbos. Hes puttin together a 632 Chevy with twin T88's right now that should lay down close to 3000 hp at the wheels (estimated).

Good luck getting it over there and road legal.
For the amount it will cost you, you could probably buy a brand new GT500 Mustang, and I know which id rather have....

yeh man, it was, even my rice loving mate saw it. It was the issue where they had xr6t vs xr5t vs sti. xr5 was the slowest, xr6 was the fastest.

hi just got that copy of the mag and im sorry mate but that is a comparo between the xr-5, xr6-t and the WRX!! not STI!!

The sti wouldve absolutely munched those two cars and it would not have been a fair contest!

either way, probably cheaper to run 11s with a turbo than an sti... and it's a much nicer car to drive around, just doesn't have the sports handling
