Just mount the rear resonator back on. next time you get pulled over by a cop, you gonna get a ticket then. Its on their system as infringement notice. peeping & flashing!

well if its passed and gets brought up again.. the car should be on file that it has been passed before and therefore should not be tested. but yer thats about right revhead :( cant win

That wont happen the cop could pull you over again in 3 weeks time and send you back for a test if wishes to do so.

I have a mate thats been EPA'd 3 times in 6 months! and every time the cops made him get a pollution and noise level test.

You purchased and fitted your zorst on advise that although close it was stil legal. The kind people from the epa send a letter saying that the cops spotted your car on a road amongst lots of other road going vehicles.
How can you be certain that it was your car they herd and not another. Further more now it's going to cost you for the db test which if passed you could still cop again as the car in front or behind may well be the one that they heard in the first place or hear the next time round.

Unfortunately in these cases your guilty untill you prove your self innocent.
Same if someone thinks you tossed rubbish out of your car, when in fact it was the car infront.

i would be pretty sure in saying that if you get it tested, and fail, you will get fined and then still have to get it fixed and tested AGAIN and passed...

sounds expensive - like what the other guys have sed, take it to a zorst shop, and ask them to check it all out for you / test it.
Prolly cheaper than getting tested, failing and fined in the long run...

EPA is a national rating, 92 in vic and everywhere else, I almost got done in one of my old XR's 91.7Db, that was only a set of the old style lukey extractors, the mandrel not the press bent ones in mild steel and a 2½ inch redback with a 4 inch hotdog.

the cop was that sure of it he tried to defect me on the spot for it, I ended dragging him to the EPA with me when it was to be tested, just to prove a point.
