I got myself a 4lt EBII ex victoria police car, does anyone know how this vehicle is modified from a standard EBII Gli? I know it has louder horns- but that have been the previous owner's work... Did police EBII's get anything done to the engine?

I think they copped(pardon the pun) lower profile tyres, different pads, and the cop suspension, no engine mods, maybe the auto gate was changed to enable you to hit the stick back to 2nd, cant remember.

Lets see;- Marks on paint work left by stickers.
- Heaps of drilled holes over interior

And plenty of more.....

On a serious note i may think that the speed limiter was taken off, and the gear ratios changed?

It depends on the role that the car played. I mean there are some that are just normal 'company cars' and although they are owned by the Police force, they recieve no modifications as there used by the desk people. Then there's ones that are modified for highway patrol. It also depends if it was a marked or unmarked vehicle. It varies, you can't just say I've got an ex-police car, what's different...

just the police spec falcons (specifically the chasers, possibly some GD cars) otherwise there wouldnt be a police cluster, just the low, medium and high level clusters

yeah, perhaps i didnt go into detail enough in the initial post. It does have an S pack dash, and although i'm not sure about the technical details, the ride feels a bit stiffer than in my mates' EB. Other than that, did the stock EB II Gli have a speed limiter or rev limiter? Coz I've had this vehicle up to about 194 kph, I thought a speed limiter would kick in before that. Can't remember how many rev's I was pulling though.
It was a patrol vehicle, I know that.

if the commodore police pack is anything to go by, police falcons should've recieved XR spec suspension.....
