:? hey guys im getting my exhaust done soon. and am getting done
-removing resinator
-2 1/2inch mandruel bend from catback
-replacing centre muffler with a straight through muffler
-leaving the rear muffler.
i was wondering if anyone has a system like this and how it sounds??
or any opinions on how it will sound?,will it have the ugly 6 hissing sound??, or will it have a bassey deep tone?? thanks guys :)

Should sound a bit better, 2.5" mandrel bent pipe and the straight thru muffler will give it a deeper tone but i dont know if the standard rear muffler you are keeping there might quieten the exhaust a bit, either way it should sound nicer

Ive got a similar exhaust, a 2.5" exhaust from the headers back, no cat, 2 hi-flow mufflers and it sounds mad . Has a real deep tone at idle, some people have mistaken it for a v8 when its idling lol but i dont know why cause most people can tell the difference between a 6 and a v8 exhaust note. Has a nice burbly growl up to 2500rpm then has a real bark to it at about 3000rpm till redline. Sounds good for a 6.

Have you got headers already?

Hey, I prefer the 6's!
They just sound s**t.

Least they're not like commodores, Fords even when loud and s**t seem to move away from 7-11 and travel away from the place of droning, commodores just go in circles and drone past again.

i got Pacey comps, magnaflow 2.5" highflow cat, 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust with striaght through muffler in middle and a hotdog on the end. It pretty loud, but i have had people follow me until i have stopped and they have told me that is one of the best sounding 6's they have heard. I might sound like a tool for sayin that but yeah it happened. Im hopin the new cam i put in this week wont change the note too much
