Hey all,

Im pretty much just wanting my BA to sound a bit meaner rather then just a plan old stock BA, and I was wonder what are my best options for this, I don't necessarily want to spend too big if I can get some cheap that sounds good ill be happy.

thanks.

i've got a '02 BA XT and i got quoted

2 1/2 sports exhaust system

and it sounds mean and growly .. :D
but mind you it's a 6 cyl so dont expect to much of a growl such as a v8.. :) hope this helps.. hehe

If you just want sound, just get a decent cat back for a few hundred. Sounds heaps crisper and raspier with headers though, but cost about $500 more for decent ones.

Couldn't agree with you more mate but you really notice the performance gain from fitting headers as well - guess thats the decision you need to make

Using a standard XR6T/XR8 system is a great cost effective way to improve the exhaust note. Ones in great condition can be had for under $100.
