hey guys im thinkin bout gettin a sports exhaust system and extractors on my ford falcon forte AU series 2 AUTOMATIC now im curious would it sound really crappy if i got it cause of it being auto plz give me ohnost opinions lol

No it will sound bloody awesome!! Doesnt matter if its an auto or manual a full exhaust systems sounds great on a falcon! what type of system are you after, ne way thiers heaps and heaps of threads on here about that sort of thing so have a good read before you decide what to go with.

yeah it think thats wat it is i heard that cause its auto wen u idle the sound of the exhaust will echo threw the car

thanks for ure advice guys im thinkin bout getting it done does $1000 sound like a good price

For some reason everyone told me this aswell, that autos sound crappy with sports exhausts. Mine sounds wicked (not just my opinion either), specially with the diff dumper, gives it an echoing sorta noise.

agreed, mine sounds very nice and its an auto, but i want a better sound out of her, maybe a bigger tip?

My XR6 which is an auto sounds bloody awesome as well, lol heaps of people come up to me in the street (fairly small town) and even say it as well. :roll:

Depending on what brand ect and what your getting $1000 can be a bit much, typically you would want a full system with a decent set of tuned length extractors for that price.

But yeah as i said do a search as thier are heaps of exhuast threads here on Fordmods lying about :)

its lukey exhaust system but i dont no much else he just said ill give it ya for 1000 installed ill find out more

The larger oval tip sounds louder at Idle than the rounder smaller 1's. Before the tip was fitted it was a quieter sound while idling, might be echoing affect as the gases leave .

I got mine done at Roadway here in canberra where they give discounts for FM members :)

$840 = comp pacies, cat moved 6" back, full mandrel bent 2.5" system, tip

(tip is like what ghiaman has).
