I'm looking at buying a freshly performance rebuilt engine for my EF XR6. The engine uses the AU short block and modified sump, but all the rest is EF/EL. It uses ACL Race Series rod and main bearings. Will these give me long life in a daily driver? Or are they expected to be replaced frequently, as in a dedicated race car? I would appreciate hearing about others' experience with them before I invest in the engine. Thanks heaps.
