so i went to fit my extractors today, and i cant get the to fit, they get stuck between the engine and cross member? anyone fitted them that can point me in the right direction?

ef 6 cylinder, not sure on brand but same shape/size as pacemakers

ill go take photo's its easier, to understand, and yeh, they should be the right type i bought them off ftg auto salvage off an el xr6

ok, probly shouldnt of said cross member, but what i meant is the rod you can see coming across, i cant get the manouevre the extractor in between that and the motor, heres the pics

remove the intermediate shaft, it's easy enough to do!

that the shaft in pic? thats all i needed to hear, i knew to move it, but anything i gotta be careful of with it, wasnt sure what it is for

Also...if you remove the intermediate shaft...I suggest you not turn the steering wheel once removed. If you need to tie a brick to the steering wheel so that you can't turn the wheel. If you turn it and reconnect the intermediate shaft by accident or someone else does, by half a turn, you may inadvertedly damage your clock spring when you go lock to lock when steering.

on the ground? thats water, its raining here lol, and if you mean on the block thats just wd40 i sprayed to loosen some bolts on the cat pipe, dw i plan on cleaning up the bay before i put them on

nah, when i said pacemakers i meant roughly same shape lol, and really cbf painting them, and we trying for about 30 mins to manouevre it in lol

i shat bricks when i realised your pacies were levitating. but theres like something right near the #5 isnt there?
