hey i ended up buying a set of extractor's today from a pick a part wreckers
now some idot worker cut the cat out of it but i complained and got the pipe were the 02 bung is and where the cat goes has anyone had there stock cat put in to there systems using extractor's etc |

they go into 2 pipes at the end then 1 kind of i dunno new to this i always have had stock systems
so quite easy to cut the stock cat , i can weld pretty well so i hope i can do it or im thinking of a "test' pipe hehe but at least i got the pipe which goes onto the extractor's due to the 02 sensor is on that pipe wreckers cut the cat out to recycle it idots

Look like Genie Short runners. Easy enough to mod the stock cat to fit.

Do the cut and shut on the front of the cat. leave the back end alone.

finally got it all out of the car and took the heat shield of

You will need to move you whole cat back a bit, either by cutting the front of your catback or the back of the cat pipe and shortening it.

And as for a test pipe, go for it if you want, but there's really no need if your cat is in good nick. It's just risking a fine, plus the exhaust fumes stink pretty badly. When I installed my Pacemakers it was kind of tricky to get all the angles lined up. Make sure your catback isn't pushed backwards or to the side, or it can rattle on things/contact the diff when you go over a speedbump.

If that's the way the extractors line up to the cat, chop a length of the pipe on the cat and weld on the flange to fit. Obviously make sure the angles are correct...so measure twice, spot weld, mark any changes, measure again, cut/weld if need be. Once everything lines up nice and schmick, weld it all up.
