I used 'MotoCraft' clear which looked dodgy but was rated at 1500F, prolly shouldve waited and ordered in the VHT clear.....

the only problem is that it keeps the heat in which then can mean heat cracking

Ok the whole thing turned to s**t INSTANTLY!!! NOT HAPPY !!

Yes i know people said it wouldnt work, but it wasnt supposed to turn brown 2 seconds after i started the car!!! I am never buying Motocraft paint again, its absolute s**t!!

I drove the car with a test patch done (unsealed) for a couple of days and it was still chrome, but after applying this s**t paint it turned to chocolate instantly which is s**t cause its a clear coat which is rated at around 800c, and i only idled the car for a minute and it was f**k!! Maybe it would have worked if i ordered in the VHT stuff, but i will never know cause im not doing all that work again!!

Anyone for chocolate brown 'rainbow' extractors?

i dont think there is a clear on the market that wont end up discolored, even electroplating will discolor, i think it actually looks good.

Actualy for a "mistake" they look s**t hot. needed time to think about it. but after sittin on it for a day i rekon it actualy looks better than the pollished silver look. as long as they keep their shine of course.
