I was just an a exhaust place asking a guy how much it would cost me for cat and extractor, asked me what car i had i said i got a Ford Fairmont Ghia tickford 6.

The guy gave me a quote of $550 supplied fitted for lukey's im like oh ok, then i asked how much for pacemaker comps he said there is no point getting them on your car because the pacemaker comps and my tickford 6 wouldnt be work putting on, something to do with the ports wont match up, is this true in what he is saying if i put the extractors on? he said he would put them on but its not worth it im better of with pacemakers, because i dont have a performace car. i asked him how much to do the pacemakers for, he said $620, im like u sure, i can get the pacemaker comps for $550 supplied and fitted, so then he said if you can get it at that price your better off going to see that guy then coming back to me to get it done.

I just dont get why one guy says put the pacemaker comps on u will get better performance from your car, then another guy says well its not worth putting the comps on because the comps wont suit the ports as well as lukey does. Please help me understand, if possible.

He is just feeding you s**t so that you will pay $550 for $300 extractors.
You can get paemaker comps fitted for $500, and they will work great.

I think he is trying to sell you the lukey's because if he does he makes more money off them

had a feeling he was feeding me s**t, it just gets confusing when you dont know lot about cars (even tho i have cert 2 in automotive) the only price he was able to match was the cat, but then i dunno if the cat he was talking about is a good one, i think he said it was car sound or something familiar to that

Car Sound are the parent company of MagnaFlow Exhausts. I have heard of them but don't know much about them.
