Hoi,

Well the next thing I want to spend money on is the exhaust, rattles quite a bit now, rusting from the inside out apparantly, lol. Extractors in the topic name too because when you get a new exhaust (performance one), best to get good extrators too?

So yeah, I'd like some indication of price for what I want done so I can have a target to save towards. So I need decent extrators and a decent exhaust system. And I plan to lower in future, and I remember some members mentioning being able to get them to kind of fit it up 'in' the chasis more? So that it's more dificult for your new system to get crushed on lower springs?

Anyway, a price on 1. Extrators, 2. Exhaust (incl. cost to really nudge the exhaust up into the chasis more). Extrators and Exhaust best for an EF Fairmont that is. O, and ofcourse labour costs too.

Cheers guys.

I have the following:

Extractors, High flow cat and a 2 1/2" stainless steel exhaust.

Cost (including labour) = $1800.00

The reason I went stainless is because the last mild steel exhaust I had rusted out within 12 months...

LOL. Yeah $1800.00 is pretty expensive. It took it up to over 130 rwk though which, in my opinion, is pretty good for the mod...

Using stainless steel is the reason it cost so much. Stainless is expesive s**t (I should know, I work in the steel industry). Usually 3 x more expensive than the mild steel equivalent...

Lol, I've been using forums for a few years now mate, I know what that button does. I rarely have luck with it though.

I'll second that.

And no offence to anyone that makes the suggestion of using the search button, but if you could find what you wanted to know (or could be F**k reading through the old info) you wouldn't be posting in the first place...
