are you sure about that???!!!

the tuned length and bigger primaries come into their own at higher rpm so you will lose a little down low, the other styles will give you better low-mid range grunt...

in the end, any of the extractors that you posted pictures of are going to give you similar results, if your chasing times or big numbers (only a couple of extra kw), then go comps, if your a daily driver who doesnt give a s**t about that then the choice is yours...

if im wrong someone tell me, and ill eat my words!

your wrong, its been much debated and tested, i calld pacemaker myself and they told me the comps have same up high as the regular 4490's but also have much more trouque down low, being better for autos.

krisisdog, have you got them instaled yet?? good??? badd??? let us know how they are

Dispite some comments before about having to choose between power and economy, headers such as ph4480's will improve both. Unless you drive your car like your playing a musical instrument of course..

Yep they are mid-high end power you feel it really hit at about 3000 then it justs keeps pulling hard all the way to redline

Well I'm having a set of ph4480's installed this morning. My cars stock except for a 2 1/2 zaust so I'll let you know how much I power it gained from stock.

As a few people have said if you want extractors you really need a cam to get the full effect of it...

Trust me you will feel a difference, when i first booted it with them, i slowly took off then stomped it and it revved up so much quicker and you could feel it aswell

Its a bloody big difference.... when i left the shop with them fitted... a corner i could put full throttle through usually just stepped out sideways as soon as i stabbed the throttle.. revs way quicker. i run 4.11's prob helps feel the increase more.

Anyways got the extractors this morning. The cars got a bit more pull but f**k me dead my car sounds like s**t now! Its dead quiet. I had a freakin beautiful exhaust note like non other but nows its been cut in half and sounds like a crapolo milo tin exhaust...Am I meant to give it time to bed in?? Its really disappointing....the powers great though :D

must be the combo of mufflers or not having mufflers, mine sounded heaps better when i put my Paci comps on. I got 2.5" mandrel with 1 straight through muffler in the middle and a 18" hotdog on the end

mine sounded REALLY f**k good when i got it fitted but it was droney... since it has worn in it seems far less droney and theres more of a lumpey sound to go with the deep growl.

Dont run a resinator just 1 straight through muffler near the back and thats it and the cat.

I'm running two mufflers as far as I'm aware. A larger size mid way and then a smaller at the rear. My car used to be F**k loud and very deep!!! but now its a tinny sound. Its slowly wearing in though...I think so anyways.

The cam should help out hopefully...lol

I'll have to experiment with it anyways...

yeah man you only need the 1 muffler :)

will help bigtime. You will probably kick yourself once its off for not getting it off earlier.
