it could be that the insulation of a wire has broken around the steering column and is earthing out as you turn the steering wheel to the right?
might be an idea to check the circuit that the fuse belongs to with an insulation resistance tester if you know a sparkie who has one that has a 12v mode it would have to be something that is either creating a fault when wheel is turned right or earthing out and creating a short circui |

get an auto sparky to look at it. In my experience mechanics and sparkies approach electrical problems in different ways. I think an auto sparkies approach would be better suited.

Fuse 19 = power door lock?
Anyone touch any electrical wiring in the steering wheel lately? Does the horn work after the fuse blows? Don't think the door locks have anything to do with the clock spring, but you never know with electrical stuff. Also do AUs have door lock button? If you have an electrical diagram schematic of the AU, trace all the wiring and see what components might be connected to the fault.
