Hi all, Awesome info on the site, have already leeched heaps of info to use on my LTD im currently doin up.
The 250 efi engine is very old and had it, The torque converter is stuffed(Ive been told, I have literally been overtaken by an old lady on her four wheeler old lady mobile at the shopping centre)
So basically was wondering what 6 cyl engines would fit in with pretty much no mods, up to wot model. Reason being i have access to a DL series 2 donar car.
Its a FC LTD with a 250 efi same as my old XE FAIRMONT GHIA
any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks guys

dude nothing other than a replacment 250 is going to fit with little to no mods.

i know all the other options sound good, but if you realy need to ask the question in the first place, you probably dont have the ability to do the work.

If you want something with a bit more stick, ditch the EFI and go with 450cfm holley 4brl and put a medium cam in a reco engine

do what i am going to do with my FD LTD - and reco and resto her to her rightfull beauty!

tho, if you have an LTD that has allready had its engine changed out of it at some stage - go crazy with it!
go all out and put what is rightful in the front of them towers... a v8!

(if mine had a dif / non numbers matching engine, i would be doing this option)

if simple is prefered, just get a reco'd motor of the same 250 efi goodness/crapness, and just drop it straight in.
