Hi all,

So I was in the process of doing a head gasket replacment on my FG XR6 ded gas.

All was going pretty well until putting it back together.
So the head is on. Once i dropped the cams in and tighten them ive rotated them vertically to do my timing.
But before doing that ive compressed air into cylinder 1 which is TDC. And i have air coming out of the inlet side.

The Vavles will not shut to build compression in all 6 cylinders. The only time they shut is with the cams loose or completely off... I have rotated the motor while timing and everything was in place and still had no comp.

Are the lifters different? Is there any clearance im missing?

Any help would be highly appreciated thanks!!!
