why leave it at that? have seen a rear resonator from a vn tied to a tree by huge chain, and driven very very fast, made a loud banging sound and needed a few attempts at breaking, needless to say that car got chopped springs lots of stockies and even many many defect notices

Why? What difference comes from a single or double muffler? (please forgive my lack of knowledge >.<)

whats the standard diff ratio for a ba mark2 xr6? it will be an expensive upgrade because the diff needs to be pulled down and you may aswell replace bearings and things while the mechanic is there

im not sure exactly, best to call up some local diff places and get a quote, probably upwards of $500 if they supply the parts and labour

it would probably have a better effect on your car than the exhaust or intake, but depends if you want your highway fuel economy effected?

yeah..I'll probably get it done at some stage but I think I'll leave it for now. Simply because where I'm living I have to hit the highways to get anywhere lol. Prob go for intake, exhaust, underdrive pulley and tune for the time being. Should keep me busy for a while lol.

dont bother with a tune until you do the diff ratio upgrade, it will need to be done so that the ecu knows of the ratio change for the gearbox, for $700 you can do the catback and underdrives provided you do them yourself at home, the exhaust is straight forward, the underdrive pulley will need a balancer puller and i probably wouldnt suggest doing this without help unless you are good with cars, i personally would feel confident doing it but ive been playing with cars since i was 12 or so years old, but even i still stuff up from time to time lol
