hey im new to this game haha i have just aquired an 1990 EA Falcon 3.9 CFI for the grand total of $600 now that i have successfully laid that engine to rest Blow head gasket warped head i need a replacement how hard would it be to fit EF/EL xr6 engine and does anyone know where a good place to find a half cut woould be i live on the sunny coast thanks all

Will you be using all the EA stuff like water pump etc. You might aswell if your ganna use a EL ecu go all the way. Injection manifold, serpentine belt setup, thermo fans. You would most likly find that you can buy a EL cheap enough to use as a donor car and just swap the whole lot over. If you bought a EL engine, ecu and everything else you need to do the job that would equal what you can buy an EL for these days.
