Alright, got the hoses disconnected, cant disconnect the wires and now cant find out how after you remove the inner retaining plate, how do you remove the outer plate so the sender unit is clear to be removed? HELP!!!!

First: have you used up all your petrol, if not, you are going to get a face full when you take out the sender, and, believe me....... IT HURTS!!!!!!

Alternatively, have a bucket under where the sender goes in and GRADUALLY remove the sender as the petrol comes out. !!AND I MEAN SLOWLY!!!

Wires are disconnected from inside beside the fuel tank. Passenger side. grommet is pushed through from inside beside fuel tank

Outer ring is tapped off with a hammer and drift on the ring tabs.

You will need to buy a new gasket from Ford. About 20 bux

Inner retaining plate???? :?
