engine and gearbox will fit no problems, just use the ef engine mounts and depending on how the turbo dump pipe is made you may have to modify it aswell??

but the diff wont directly fit, xg is leaf springs and ef is 4 link with coils..
if you want to use the 9" diff from the xg you will need to get the ef suspension brackets and wats link welded to the xg's diff..
also the tailshaft lengths are also different from xg to ef..

Unless you have heavily modified the Xg's motor, why not just bolt the turbo to an ef motor? I have been told the Ef's were the pick of the bunch in the i6's from ea to au non vct. Just a thought

A standard EL diff will be stronge enough,You'll bend them standard rods befor you break the diff.

lol.. ive broken a gearbox or 2 with 355hp at the wheels but the diffs lasted 3 years of abuse..

if your set on the 9 inch then its custom modification time..

Not really that set on it. Does take abit of power and bit more strain on everything. Heavy C*NT of a thing. What diff center do you have?

As TROYMAN said your T5 amd your rods will go long befor a standard diff. Why didnt you go forged rods when you done the bottom end? :S

The whole motor was rebuild with forged internals. If you read my quick list I said i left things out. Thought people who kinda gather if I have had forged pistons and other things done everything else would be done as well...

I bet you thought people would actually read the whole post before commenting......... sorry dude. From what I can gather if you install the Xg setup into an Ef you will still need an engineers to make sure all epa crap is compliant with the newer cars setup. Maybe stock Xg engine into an Ef would go unnoticed, but by the sound of it your setup is kind of noticable. Why the Ef body ( or have I missed something else you've said)? Instead of being another turbo e series why not drop it into a Cortina or even an Xf sedan? At least with the Xf most parts would be transferable from the whole Xg
