how is everyone going? i have a 06 bf mk2 rtv ute and its running the standard 4l inline 6. now i have seen these flash tuner around and they say that they will increase your power by a 15+kw. im not running a supercharger yet. but theres a new exhaust put on it. my question is with my basic setup will spending 800 odd dollars really do anything to the ute?

bang for buck is questionable, probably best to do intake and exhaust mods before a flash tune..
and some of the generic tunes (pre programed) are pretty average, to get the most out of it a custom dyno tune will give best results, but at a cost, flash tuner=$700, dyno tune= around $700.. so it can be a costly exercise to gain 15-30rwkw. |
