Is it possible to flip the ring gear on an EL flywheel as the teeth are worn, I know how to but wondering if the gear can go on either way?

it will,or relocate it 180 deg,did it to a 250 motor,made new rivets.

Flipped the ring gear over today, its easy with an oxy torch.
The champher on the inside edge of the gear is slightly smaller on one side than the other but can't see that making any difference.
