I have 2 EA sedans '88, ones column shift but i dont have all the connecting bars to the gearbox. the others is a COMPLETE floor shift auto. is it possible to convert the column shift to a floor shift. i know it will be easier to get the stuff from a wrecker, but can i cut a hole in the floor to fit it in? Will it fit?

my excab was done, had to cut hole in floor and add part of floorpan from tbar model, mine was done very shoddy (was not done by me) but it works fine. if I did it would have been done better but then again you dont really see it under the carpet and console anyway so have not bothered to fix it up better.

Yeah you have to cut a holeabout 6 inches long and 4 inches wide, well thats what I had to do to convert my EA from colllumn auto to manual
