depends on how you want it set up...
do you want them to be able to go on/off all the time
only in low beam, only in high beam

being fog lights, i say its best having it hooked up to low beam only....

you will need a relay lots of wire and a switch...

goto super cheap auto....

If you want Fog lights then make sure you buy lights with a FOG light spread, Not driving lights.
Fog lights should be mounted low in the front bar to light up the road under the fog layer. So look at mounting them in either the brake ducts or the main air duct in the lower half of the front bumper.

Fog lights should be wired to come on with parking lights so that in thick fog they and the parking lights are the only ones on.
They should also be switched so they can be turned off leaving the parking lights on.

I am using Narva Compac 80's (Fog) in mine. Cost is around $100

Always use a relay.

Maximum 55watts each.

RRP on the Compac 80 kit is close to $150.00 these days(comes with a relay, switch and wiring though). I just ordered in through work 1x Compac 80 driving light and 1x fog light, so I get both.
My current driving lights are just little s**t, but my old boy used a trigger wire from one of the factory relays near the battery, and so they only come on when the car is on low beam, when I turn just park lights on, or even change from low beam to high beam, they will turn off - which is fine because when you go onto high beam your usually looking further ahead down the road and so I've found it to be fine.

They've gone up quite a bit since I got mine then.

That car central wiring diagram is wrong. The way they got it the light will work independant of any other light

Driving lights must turn off with High beam

Fog lights must turn off with Low beam.

Here is my one

Any Auto Sparky will supply the materials, & good quality ones at that. Most will give advice or instruction for free. You get what you pay for with auxiliary lighting!! How much did you spend on a sound system that'll never save your life!!!

Haven't lived in Sydney since '99, but I used Powderworks spares in Narrabeen when I was there.

A couple of extra tips for wiring driving or fog lights.

* Run separate earth wires from each light back to the negative terminal of the battery. That ensures a good earth return and maximum voltage at the globe.

* Bosch relays are the most reliable I've found.

* Make sure that you use a heavy duty inline fuse holder on the positive side of the circuit. The best ones are made of a bakelite or hard plastic material and are of a two-piece, screw-together style.
