I recently purchased a 96 xh ute. I was told the motor is blown. It turns over, but doesn't sound right. It sounds like it has no compression. Would the head just need to be replaced?

Do a compression test on it and check your oil and radiator reservoir you should be able to make out what's wrong with it that way
