1636 ( which is fine for stock ECU) theres so many to pick for with the E series

yea get a regrind its so not worth getting a billet , hmm which ones the AU1645 i cant find it in there cataloge il Google it though for you

what are you looking for ? ive noticed with the AU's they low end power you don't need to much due to if your going to take of hard you will most likely get wheel spin as the car already sits so something for low to med range would be preferable , whats your say though ?

Yeah, im sorta looking for low to mid. I dont travel that much at the high revs
At the moment it sorta kicks around 2500-3000 revs, if it could kick at like 2000 or something that would be epic.

well the AU1645 wade would be power in the around 3.5K-5K which is stupid to be honest ive got one of those which im purchasing and swapping benno on here for his 1636

id look into getting one step lower then the AU1645, and it would be perfect for your needs i say (mine im getting from Benno is 2 steps lower then the 1645)

You must be an expert now then!
But is it worth getting a cam, or just skipping it and going on to the J3?

nah cam , and if it don't run to well then J3 it , J3 wont do to much if you only get a cam for low to med power as you wanted but who knows maybe the J3 in the AU's can give it a good power increase

from what i read a J3 should be around 10-15rwkw (they come with like 90-100rwkw from factory ( depending on cam its also a 15-20rwkw , i may be wrong with these figures but its a guesstimate

Yeah sounds alright, so long as you have money to burn. From what ive heard on these forums the J3 is a pretty good investment. But you wouldnt know until you got one.
To me a J3 is the same as a dyno tune, but i know this is completely wrong.

nah it pretty much is , its just shame rocking up with a B series to a dyno unless its got major work done to it or its a turbo E/A series

Jason from TI can it with in like 5% ive been quoted by a few actual dyno tuners for 1/3 of the cost

Close enough for the price!

When you order one you just put in the details of your car in the box dont you? Like what modifications you've done.

if you still are running your original 02 sensor i would replace it , but they don't do much just tells the vehicle on what fuel to give it to the ECU

what was the cost for the welding job for the extractors ?

Maybe in the next service. Ive already gotta do brakes, rear sway bar and rear bushes. May aswell add it to the list haha
Ended up costing me $200. Pretty much what i was expecting.
