its like half a turbo...
no big gain... nothing you'd notice... when a turbo is not running on boost, when its just free wheeling it does atomise air better for cleaner burning, that part is a fact... however for 40 bucks plus postage... its a waste, your not gonna notice anything... maybe slightly cleaner exhaust fumes... this basically claims the same thing as the magnets you put either side of your fuel line/injectors... supposed to help atomise fuel better... there is no such thing as cheap power mate...

a lot of these work on the mind over matter principal...
they tell you it goes better, you put it in and think that it does go better... off the mark, your describing more torque than power and this would do very little to nothing for torque... torque is governed by diameter and length of inlet runners (external to the motor)... and by length of stroke... thats why modern falcons have that broadband manifold... change the length of the runners to give a more constant torque curve...

these can actually work well on carby engines and also most gas setups.
it would mainly aid drivability i would think, using say large carby engine as an example it could help with more even fuel distribution at low revs/low vacuum. as troy has suggested, it simply helps atomise and also stabalise the intake charge. but for most modern petrol cars, it would have very minimal effect, and it would be very suprising if it added any power.

i know someone that put one on a falcon, thefan failed and got sucked through the throttle body, down into the manifold, damaged his head, and then sat ratling in his cat.... get it if your game....

lol i dont think i would buy this type.
you can buy them as a solid state and is basically a fan shaped piece of metal in the intake which is call a hyclone.

the only thing that is good for is restricting your air flow....
its not going to give a better mixture as the turbulence it creates is way too early in the inlet track, the sudden expansion of air into the broadband manifold creates it own turbulence for even distirbution, and then it has to split into 6 runners to get to the head....
