Okay my 96 Falcon wont start, its been running fine up untill this morning, it sounded like it had a miss in the engine so i turned it off, callled a few people and now when i turn the key to start it, all that happens is a loud click sound as if it is trying to turn over and then it stops and makes no noise. the fuel pump still turns on all the gauges still work so it shouldn't be anything electrical i wouldnt think.

can anyone help me out with a little advice?

battery is flat.

Hw old is the battery? Try putting it on a charge for a while then see how it goes.
