hi is there any one who can help me with my falcon Au 2001 as above.
it started to misfire and I found the HT unit had split, I fitted a new one together with new HT leads and plugs.
and now it won't fire at all have checked the CKP and the CMP sensors they are making circuit ok, but No one can tell me what voltage should be delivered to the sensors with the ignition switched on I'm only getting 1.8 volt DC the wiring diagram shows it fed from the EEC but cannot find info on the pin out of the EEC which is difficult to investigate due to the large connection to it.
I have tried a couple of ODBC units but to no avail and have been informed I need An ax2cl ODBC type which has to be set to the specific of my car IE sent to US but these are now not available.
Can any body please advice
I have had this car from new and is 17 years old and still get people stopping me when it was running to have a look and chat
