Hi mate,
i just replaced a BOSCH New Oxygen Sensor on my 2004 Falcon BA XT LPG. The engine ran much smoother but the Trip computer keep showing the wrong KM and fuel consumption index, and every time i start the engine, it seems very rush to start. I haven't reset the ECU computer after the new o2 sensor installed, Do i need to reset the ECU ? & What's the proper way to reset the ECU, i'm quite confuse with different method. Cheer. |

The trip computer? thats the one that counts the km you have traveled each trip or each tank. I think you may mean the range computer on the LH LCD. the range computer and fuel consumption will right themselves over the next heap of drives, there more of a aprox number, if you do lots of highway km the range will go up and the L/100km will go down. if you do all stop start city driving they will go the other way. You can reset the PCM (ECU) by disconnecting the battery for a few mins, the computer will then learn all the values again over the next few drives
