as in above 5 speed gear box shot no third gear anymore lol had the car a year paid 8000 for it now paying more to fix it ok enough rambling does anyone know what goes into converting it to a zf 6 speed without another car loan if so does anyone know if there is anyone in Brisbane who converts them

I haven't done the conversion myself but I supplied someone the parts to do it. Going from memory I supplied 6 speed trans, cross member & mount, engine\trans loom, PCM and shifter linkage (from box to shifter in car) and maybe driveshaft to do the swap.

Dans FPV Parts can do them.

If we were in Adelaide the Local wrecker there does under $2500 drive in drive out.

Id like to have the space to look at this - I think it should be a much cheaper conversion. A few people have done it just swapping ECU's etc, and that requires an ABS Upgrade in a lot of instances. If you use PCMTEC you might be able to reflash your ECU to support the ZF, then youd only need (apparently) the Passenger side engine bay wiring.
