My AU VCT has 1,200,000kms on the clok and it made 117rwkW so it's only just run in? that on gas? |

stick to the I6 mate. ill give the commodores some credit.. but all my mates except a few mind you mostly own commodores. a VR, VZ and VS. all ive got is 18" 235's and a redback catback exhaust on my EF Fairmont and i gave the VZ a run for its money. standing start was neck and neck but rolling i killed all of them. 0-100 ill just beat my mates VS though due to me having the torque advantage (:

It had 790,000kms at the time. |

stock against stock on the highway the I6 has longer legs. but off the line a V6 is quicker. and the Buick V6 will outskid any stock I6 E-series

That's because of the short as s**t 1st gear. If you disconnect the brake line I'd like to see a commodore bounce off the limiter in 2nd. Squeak's falcon would bounce of the limiter in 2nd week in week out.

V6 commodores are quicker off the line only the rest is Ford all the way in stock form for both.
My ford smacks all the v6 & v8 in the same eara. I've also beaten the v6 sportivo, golf GTi turbo, audi s3 turbo & the Ford BA 6. I lost against the BF xr8 with exhaust & intake just 1.5 car lengths. We both pulled over & the guy in the BF xr8 thuoght my car was a v8. He was shocked that my car was a 6 n/a. The xr8 person was a top bloke. Just a few cars that i have raced a beaten.

ive smoked a vn ss to 80k's(i backed off) in my pretty much stock te cortina with a 250xflow 4spd man, 2.92 gears and 2 1/4" exhaust with stock exhaust manifold.
its the best feeling when other p platers think they sick in there commos and you leave em for dead. ive also raced mates in there commo v6's and smoked em all.(all autos cos theyre not real men lol) it leaves my au ghia for dead aswell. |
