f**k oath he is serious. the vy did a 16.7 or something woeful.

a manual v6 commonwhore ute was only just running 16.2's which is funny as haha..
i tell them about my car, with its granddad spec sun hat and rear louvre hehe and its got 361,000km on it and it ran 15.5
open centre diff etc.

Nope, its an auto BA XT with a singlespinner diff and stock gears.
That dyno figure was at Dynomotive on an FM Vic Dyno Day.

kens ba put out 145 odd kw but it only managed a 15.5

that has since grenaded its auto, so its slower than a mitsi sigma hehe...

i love these threads so much amusement, well here goes i lost my license beating a vy equipe in my ef xr6 with a blown head gaskit. basically have found that holdens will give it to a stock ford auto off the line then all over red rover for holden once ur at about 60 odd k

i bet a clubbie, all the way from take off, and my car had a blown hed gasket, flodded cat, missing sparkpulg number 4, milo exhaust tip and a crackd rear windscreen
he had no chance, my ford is soo fast, it can do 0-180 in like 9secs..........
this thread is all talk, drag some holdens, video tape it and throw it on youtube, be sure to leave your name and number plates to proove its your car

like before all that proves is that ford has got more power and torque then holdens.
put a ba falcon 182kw near a ea about 135kw(i think) spac 5-speed and i bet 0-100 the ea will rape it every time
a wrx has only got about 165kw or so but wil get any ford na i6

im a ford freak but i do admit stock early e series falcons got murdered in teh take off frm the vn comodores... we have better top end than teh comodores but there tourqy v6 engines go good in teh take off
i cant see a stock ea ceeping up 2 one
my car is moded and my mates vn which is stock was keepin up 2 me in the take of wen i hit about 70 i started blitzing him

Just convert ur car 2 manual and enjoy destroying ur mates VN everytime, that way u can get rid if ur huge gearing disadvantage.

Do I read in your post a claim about holdens "torquey V6"? You cant have meant that right? The V6s in commies have always generated less tourque at a later point in the range then the equivelant Ford I6.

In case you have somehow missed the 400 posts stating the obvious, its the GEARING in the commies, not the torque or power. A simple diff ratio change or manual conversion will see an end to a commie V6 no worries. All that will be left is the distance between you and him.
