Note that Ford still uses the old DIN style of measuring kw at the engine..

Aaaargh Interceptor how many times do we have to go through this!!!! The EB XR6's had the 161kW motor, same as ED.

There was no Series 1 XR6, even though there was an XR8. So from EBII onwards you could get either 148kW motor in normal models, or 161kW motor in the XR6!!!

The EFs didn't ever come out with 148kw did they ?
I always thought it was 157 but I saw on a site the other day they reckoned 148. I think someone had their wires crossed

Nah, that site definately had its wired crossed.
Actually I'm confused about EBII's now that I remember. Sometimes it says EBII has 145kW and ED has 148kW. :?

the xh utes are 148kw i thought, cause the motor looks like the eb/ed 4.0L

me dads AU was so smooth to drive it was i nice car but it was very very unresponsive. but it had fantastic fuel economy it chewed nothin compared to his BA. they are both fairmonts not falcons.
