Sorry, it was the only 6 cyl workshop I could find here......
I know this isn't one of those mighty 6 cylinder Aussie cars like my EB but I need some help regarding changing the water pump and hoses. The water pump appears near inaccessible and as for the hoses, forget it. Apparently, the pulley on the pump is an integral part of the pump and doesn't come off to give more access. The Haynes repair manual was a total waste of money and explains nothing, not even listing the hoses. As for the imported CD repair manual, DON'T ever waste your money on one! Does anyone have knowledge or experience of accessing the hoses on the water pump to change them? It may be a hoist job but I don't own a hoist and I was going to do them for a friend to save her money. Another issue, does anyone know what CD stacker (brand and model) came standard with this Yankee car? The CD stacker had been removed by a previous owner and apparently, if not matched correctly the head unit won't work. The design of the dash panel means we can't just swap the CD player from her old car without replacing the entire oval dash panel. Thanks! |
