Was replacing the spark plugs on the weekend and the third one in had a fair bit of oil on the old plug.

read into it and apparently its somewhat common for the spark plug seals to harden on them and leak oil into the chamber/onto the plug.

ive ordered/got the new seals and rocker gasket.

just after any tips or advice for doing the job, is it just plug and leads out/off. rocker cover off, clean and replace seals.

new gasket (do i need anything to help it bond) rebolt and good to go?

any tips or advice on easiest way or mistakes im making would be appreciated

Thats pretty much it.
Just be careful removing the seals to not damage the housing, and tap them in slowly and evenly. Dont use any silicon on the seals or the rocker cover as it will more than likely make it leak.

Cheers,

Chris

The VCT seals should come with the kit too, just be careful removing the cover as to not damage the actuators and also take care changing these seals.
