hey guys how are you's. I am new to this fourm. I currently own a 1998 ford XH UTE longreach falcon. Now my problem is that while im driving my whole dash will turn off for some reason? but everytime when it happends i have to smack the dash really hard and then it will turn back on while im driving? i would like to know why? I have changed my Alternator and a new battery.

Hi geraus and welcome to formods

Sounds like maybe one or both of you dash cluster plugs are loose. What you need to do is to remove your dash cluster by first removing your dash surround and then remove the cluster itself and there is 2 connectors at the bottom of the cluster. Make sure these are seated right
